About Anita

Anita Bradley is a Virginia artist and designer whose expressive abstract paintings come to life as wearable art. Each piece in her collection blends color, movement, and individuality — transforming fine art into fashion that’s both vibrant and timeless. From canvas to cloth, she creates art you can live in, move in, and feel beautiful wearing.

A Life In Color

Art has always been my language — long before I ever called it a career. I’ve painted, designed, and created for as long as I can remember. Over the years, my journey has carried me through many creative worlds: interior design, scenic art, education, and fine art. Each experience shaped how I see the world — through texture, pattern, rhythm, and color.

When I began painting full-time, I discovered something unexpected. My abstract canvases — those layers of movement and emotion — seemed to belong not just on walls, but on clothing. I wanted people to feel the same energy and joy that I felt while creating them. That realization led me to my next chapter: transforming art into fashion — fulfilling a dream I’ve had since high school.

Where Art Becomes Fashion

The Anita Bradley collection grew naturally out of my work as a painter — a way to let my art move beyond the canvas and into daily life. Each garment in the Anita Bradley collection begins as a painting or digital photomontage — inspired by nature, music, or an emotional rhythm. Next I translate those designs onto garments where they take on new life as fashion that’s expressive yet refined, vibrant yet timeless.

I create for women who are confident, curious, and unafraid to stand out — women who see fashion not just as clothing, but as self-expression.

The Vision

At the heart of my work is a simple idea:
Clothing can be art, and art can be lived in. My goal is to blur the boundary between canvas and cloth — to create fashion that celebrates individuality and connects creativity to everyday life.

From my canvas to your closet.

Wear some art.
